Besser als im Sitz dieses tief gelegten Modells kann es einfach nicht mehr werden: man nimmt noch die feinsten Unterschiede des Stra\u00dfenbelags am Steuer wahr, w\u00e4hrend einem der Duft der Landschaft in diesem sehr, sehr offenen Cabriolet in die Nase steigt.\r\n\r\nDas Auto sieht aus wie ein klassischer Lotus, und die Leute reagieren \u00e4u\u00dferst positiv auf den Wagen. Aber Vorsicht: denn dieser Wagen hat nur noch wenig mit dem urspr\u00fcnglichen Lotus der sechziger Jahre gemeinsam. Das Gewicht stimmt zwar noch ungef\u00e4hr \u00fcberein, aber der Donkervoort verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber satte 210 PS des Audi Turbo Motors. Die Verbindung von leichtem Wagen und Superantrieb f\u00fchrt zu einer schlicht sagenhaften Beschleunigung. Was diesen Wagen jedoch letztlich von allen anderen unterscheidet, ist seine unvergleichliche Stra\u00dfenlage und die Bremskraft.\r\n\r\nIm Lauf der Jahre hat Jaap Donkervoort, der einzige Automobilhersteller der Niederlande, das Originalkonzept in H\u00f6hen gef\u00fchrt, von denen sich Lotus nie und nimmer h\u00e4tte tr\u00e4umen lassen.
